In October, we officially joined the 1% for the Planet movement. We are therefore committed to donating 1% of our sales to environmental protection associations. This is a natural decision, which is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility approach.
We are fortunate to have experienced a great growth in our transport activities and we wish to share this success with the Company. It is also a will of the ED-TRANS Group, entirely shared by all the agencies and employees: to go further on the ecology after the signature of the EVcom charter which commits us to a reduction of our greenhouse gas emissions. Finally, it is a way to involve our customers who act through the transport they entrust to us.
We were looking for a movement with impact, global in scope and totally dedicated to environmental causes. And we chose the 1% for the Planet collective for its influence, its recognition and its support.
LOCAL ASSOCIATIONS THAT MAKE AN IMPACT
For our teams to get involved with the 1% associations, we have selected the initiatives that are active near our agencies. For this first immersion in the world of sponsorship, we will support 3 associations. Financial support of course, but also human support, by participating in solidarity days.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT 1% FOR THE PLANET
The mission of 1% for the Planet is to increase the impact on the ground of actions carried out by environmental protection associations. The organization was launched in 2002 in the United States by Yvon Chouinard, founder and owner of Patagonia. It has more than 6,000 members, companies like us, who commit to donate 1% of their sales to environmental organizations.
