Our Overseas teams have just obtained the international IATA approval: a formality that attests the expertise of our transit agents and guarantees the safety of our air transport operations.
The professional association IATA groups together the majority of the world’s airlines: 240 companies, or 84% of air traffic. Its aim is to promote the development of air transport by unifying and coordinating international standards and regulations. It deals with passenger safety and air freight
a reliable and available mode of transportation
“Just as in sea transport, the demands on air transport are increasing. IATA accreditation has become an obvious choice for us. Our customers will benefit from a better guarantee of safety but also from a total traceability with a single provider and a single contact.” says Erwan MOYON, General Manager of NTL-FRANCE
In 2021, international transport, whether it is road, sea or air transport, represented 78% of NTL-FRANCE’s revenues. This trend is driven by the dynamism of international trade, by the strong presence of our clients in the export market and by the expertise of our teams in international formalities.
As a result, air freight is growing within the Group’s Overseas services. Although more expensive, air transport is preferred for shipments requiring short delivery times over long distances. And in this period of flow disruptions and shortage of transport modes, shipping by air is a reliable solution.
